I'm finally posting photos from this past Memorial Day weekend...I can't even describe what an awesome time it was. First of all it was incredibly lazy...which with planning the wedding, working and blogging, I can't remember the last time I had a free weekend. It was SOOO nice to just take it easy. Also, the weather couldn't have been better. The whole three days the weather was amazing.
Besides relaxing we went to a friends b-day party at Fidel's in Solana Beach. Celebrated with some margaritas and mariachi. I requested Corozon Espinado and the mariachi band refused to play it, lol. The next day I went to a bbq at my dear friend La's house and saw some peeps that I don't get to hang with very often. Played flip cup. I felt like I was in college again! Ha, so fun! Memorial day was spent at the beach at Stone Steps in Leucadia. I broke out the camera and practiced my photography.
This weekend has definitely invigorated my love for San Diego, my friends and just enjoying life. Sometimes I get bogged down with everything on my plate and take things for granted, but damn I am lucky! To live in such a beautiful place, to have such great friends and an awesome fiance. I know it sounds cheesy, but this weekend made me appreciate everything so much more. Honestly I felt like a kid on summer break....the horizon looks very bright :)
Okay, enough about my weekend. How was yours?! I hope you all had a fabulous time! How stoked is everyone that summer is right around the corner? Um, sooo excited...it's going to be a memorable one ;)
xoxo...Kate
I'm definitely California dreaming after seeing these photos. The beach looks beautiful...wish I could go back.

Oh, wow - beautiful sunny beach - I'm so jealous!! It's almost winter here in Oz - and the cold has definitely arrived! Glad you had a great time, though :)

Lately I've been stumbling upon a wealth of California bloggers, and it's making me reconsider my East Coast locale. Gorgeous, sunny photos!
